Pastors William & LaShawn Bedsole
In October of 2013, God spoke to Pastors Will and LaShawn to move to North Dakota and pioneer The River Church in Dickinson. They have a burning desire to see Dickinson and the surrounding regions shaken by the love and power of God.
We see a multicultural church full of winners, impacting Dickinson and beyond with the Good News! Our mission is to reach the lost, strengthen believers, and help every person find freedom, find peace and find joy.

Bio
Pastors William & LaShawn Bedsole
William was born and raised in Alabama. After getting radically saved, he immediately moved to Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. William graduated Rhema in 1995. He then moved back to AL and served faithfully in his home church as a music minister. His life was touched in a profound way by the ministry and teaching of Kenneth Hagin and Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. William had the privilege of teaching at The River Bible Institute in Tampa, FL.
LaShawn was born and raised in North Dakota. After graduating from Dickinson High School and attending DSU for a year, she became passionate about fulfilling the call of God on her life. She decided to move to Tampa, FL in 1998, to attend The River Bible Institute and graduated in 2002 with a BA in Theology. The ministry of Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne have touched her life in a very special way. During her fifteen years in FL, she was blessed to work for several powerful ministries. She had the honor of working for Drs. Rodney and Adonica, then went on to traveling around the world with a lady evangelist for many years and then worked for an international missions organization.

William and LaShawn have been married since 2004 and have two little boys. Just prior to launching into the call of God full time, Willliam and LaShawn attended The River Church in Tampa and helped to support the vision of Drs. Rodney and Adonica and Revival Ministries International. In October of 2013, God spoke to their hearts to move to North Dakota to pioneer The River Church in Dickinson. They have a burning desire to see Dickinson and the surrounding regions shaken by the love and power of God. William and LaShawn are both ordained ministers through Revival Ministries International Ministerial Association.
The Mission
A Local Church with a Worldwide Vision
The River Church has both a local and worldwide vision for evangelism. It is our heart to reach out beyond the four walls of the church and mobilize every believer to win the lost.
Jesus said to go into the highways and the byways and compel them (Luke 14:23). Our hearts desire is to fulfill the GREAT COMMISSION – “GO YE into all the world and preach the Gospel” (Mark 16:15-20).
It is our job to preach the Gospel to the lost and see our city and nation shaken by the power of God! We have found that one reason Christians do not share their faith is because they do not know how. We want to challenge every believer to “GO YE” and win the lost! Join us for soulwinning and evangelism classes.
