RiverKids is excited to partner with parents to see children empowered by the Word of God, to be a vessel that God uses, all while having FUN!
What to Expect
On your first visit, just look for the RiverKids Kiosks. You'll be greeted by leader excited to meet your family and you'll learn how RiverKids works and be able to ask any questions you may have.
Because we value safety and security, we’ll just need you to conveniently sign up at either one of our iPad Check-in stations, where we’ll need some basic information and any special instructions (allergies, etc.) for each child. This info is automatically entered into our RiverKids database to help maintain our secure check-in system. You’ll be provided a unique number that matches your child’s name badges, for easy pickup. Also, as a parent, you can rest easy, knowing that every RiverKid volunteer not only has been background checked, but that they have a heart to minister to your child.
All toddlers and preschoolers can be checked in to RiverBears, 15 minutes prior to service starting. Elementary kids will participate in the main praise and worship and then dismissed to their class.

Pastors William & LaShawn Bedsole
William was born and raised in Alabama. After getting radically saved, he immediately moved to Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible Training Center. William graduated Rhema in 1995. He then moved back to AL and served faithfully in his home church as a music minister. His life was touched in a profound way by the ministry and teaching of Kenneth Hagin and Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. William had the privilege of teaching at The River Bible Institute in Tampa, FL.
LaShawn was born and raised in North Dakota. After graduating from Dickinson High School and attending DSU for a year, she became passionate about fulfilling the call of God on her life. She decided to move to Tampa, FL in 1998, to attend The River Bible Institute and graduated in 2002 with a BA in Theology. The ministry of Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne have touched her life in a very special way. During her fifteen years in FL, she was blessed to work for several powerful ministries. She had the honor of working for Drs. Rodney and Adonica, then went on to traveling around the world with a lady evangelist for many years and then worked for an international missions organization.
In October of 2013, God spoke to Pastors Will and LaShawn to move to North Dakota and pioneer The River Church in Dickinson. They have a burning desire to see Dickinson and the surrounding regions shaken by the love and power of God.
William and LaShawn have been married since 2004 and have two little boys. Just prior to launching into the call of God full time, Willliam and LaShawn attended The River Church in Tampa and helped to support the vision of Drs. Rodney and Adonica and Revival Ministries International. In October of 2013, God spoke to their hearts to move to North Dakota to pioneer The River Church in Dickinson. They have a burning desire to see Dickinson and the surrounding regions shaken by the love and power of God. William and LaShawn are both ordained ministers through Revival Ministries International Ministerial Association.
